There was a tie for quickest thought to come to my head... One I'm not even sure actually existed, & the movie version starring "Claudia" from "Party Of 5" & Matt LeBlanc from "Friends", the only one to get a spinoff from his show, & starring in something new on CBS next week.

I heard last week my audiologist is having her office shut down... Sucks b/c I was just about to complain my left hearing aid seems to not work at all anymore. (Also, parent who has never heard all that well is going to same people they took me to for my hearing to have theirs tested tomorrow... Says hers got worse due to side-effect from eye drops.)

Side-Note: Read long ago that Bowie/Jones' son tweeted some things after tribute to his father by Lady Gaga at some awards show... Regardless, we sadly have now lost both talented David Jones musicians. (Can you get more specific with that grouping?!)

Sucks b/c I was just about to complain my left hearing aid seems to not work at all anymore. (Also, parent who has never heard all that well is going to same people they took me to for my hearing to have theirs tested tomorrow... Says hers got worse due to side-effect from eye drops.)

I see from E-Bay that I can get a hearing aid of some sort ( different models listed by with no detail about them) for less than $10 each. On the other hand, very modern 'digital' types at about £4000 each.

I recently had my hearing checked.
The poor girl had never heard of "Gunner's Ear" as she stuffed silicon goo into my ear for sizing. I await the decision about when or even if, I get them (free on our Health Service).

Yeah. It's kind of like the crazy idea we had as teenagers that we would live forever. We just didn't realize how soon "forever" would sneak up on us.

I quite agree. I have bi-focals and after some years, still have trouble reading my screens.

If I'd known my body was going to last this long I'd have taken better care of it.
