Looks like it may not make landfall. Perhaps further north. Maybe by then it may have lost some strength over cooler waters. I think landfall takes away the strength better though. No water vapour to fuel the storm.

As a rule its the rain and tidal surge that kill unless the wind hits you with a flying cow or Canadian. Florida is on the dry side of the storm.
