We do have salamanders here. Once or twice a year they would invade my garage after and during a heavy summer storm.

Maybe they don't like the city. I have seen small toads in Inver Grove Heights, but no lizards.

*looks at cozy home, that has textile covered walls*

So many colours.
Patterns of rugs on the floors.
Patterns on the well padded furniture.

Snow would add to the cosy feeling.

I'm the same. I get excited when I really like a song and listen to it on repeat.

Currently I'm listening to Strange Little Girl by The Stranglers. I love it. Especially around 1.27, 1.28.

Cooking lasagne for tonight. Feeling really happy. Day off. Relaxing. My daughter is at Wet n Wild today. Beautiful spring day. I'm very hungry.

You're welcome.

Well, I'll finally listen to the original. I love Tori Amos's version.

And no you're welcome, cause there's no lasagne for me.

Well, I'll be hornswoggled.

I looked at the instructions yesterday and discovered that all these years, I've been making the oatmeal wrong.

The instructions say:
1 cup of water
½ cup of oatmeal.

I've been making it with:
7/8ths cup of water
1 cup of oatmeal.

I do like it nice and dry so that when I pour milk on my oatmeal I don't end up with what is effectively a gruel.

Thank you, Twinkles. :rose:

Not that your current av isn't adorable and stuff...a gentle reminder that IS October and traditionally here on the GB we have Wings' Parade Of Masks in the weeks leading up to Halloween... :)
