It has definitely happened that people have posed as women and have been caught out, and yes I have seen it happen personally, but for the most part I don't think it happens on here. It's not really the place where someone needs to do that, is it? I guess there's going to be people in this world that get their kicks out of doing that, no matter where you go.

I get called a man every once in a while. Mostly by people trying to start some bs. I laugh and ignore them. The folks I talk to via phone know I am a woman. The few who have seen my picture know I am a woman. I don't need to prove myself to anyone here. It's those with low self esteem that fall in to that trap.

I received a PM literally 10 minutes ago from someone whose ID I won't share. When I checked out the profile it appeared to be that of a phisher. I replied to the PM asking the person to share some additional details about themselves but no response yet. I'm tempted to think that person was not real.
