The biggest problem the NFL faces right now is brain injury. That one is not going away and will not continue to be swept under the carpet. The new helmet designs that pad the melon are too big and bulky for the NFL and player to embrace. The retired players with scrambled brains are whipping out the lawyers. Workman's comp will never be the same.

Teams holding fans and cities hostage. "Build us a bigass stadium or we will move to another city." Endless commercials during the game. Deflated balls. Players smacking their bitches around and smoking the green.

The cancer thing really showed up as nothing more than a money making ploy last year when the running back from the Steelers wanted to wear pink all year because his mother is battling cancer.

The NFL told him he could only wear it during the time frame the whole league has to or he would be fined, maybe worse. He got around it by coloring some of his braid pink because that doesn't fall under 'uniform'

But it shows how disgusting they are. It was also discovered a pathetically small amount of money goes to cancer. They were ousted for charging the veterans to be honored and I'm not a fan of the National Anthem garbage either. If this country was so full of oppression for black people, why do blacks from third world countries come running here for a better life? Regardless of your stance on that, The NFL should be telling these millionaire yahoos(talk about oppressed) that you're an employee of the league and protest in whatever way you feel is right, on your time.

The NFL has players in the news on a close to daily basis for committing crimes, many of them violent. Its trickled down into college where the future NFL felons are practicing by beating other students, raping coeds, toting gun etc...

The tipping point for me-as of right now I'm only watching Pats games and not a snap of any other game and because I've been a fan for 38 years-is all the talk about 'safety' yet this piece of garbage league has these guys playing on Thursday nights on three days rest. Football is a vicious physical game and it is not meant to be played twice in four days.

The rules on safety like certain hits and protecting the quarterback-are nothing to do with safety, but attempts to take any type of defense out of the game. Fantasy football, not real football is bringing in billions and has become legalized gambling, Fantasy is all based on offensive numbers. The league wants every game to be 42-35 and uses 'safety' as a n excuse to keep flagging defensive backs for hits to keep drives alive.

Its a disgusting league that lies every time its lips move and sinks so low it takes advantage of charities and veterans and allows rapists and other criminals to play to line its pockets Adrian Pederson burtally beat his son, and the NFL had him featured on many of their commercials last year.

Its shame they've corrupted destroyed such an amazing game. Bigger shame more people won't boycott it, but again...fantasy football? Give up my fantasy league? Never.

Good points, Los Angeles should never have been given the Rams. They have had two prior franchises and failed both times. But they threw the most money at Jerry Jones and the others.

Blue collar types, especially but not exclusively white ones, who form the base of the fan population don't like it when the country is disrespected. Not talking about right wing ideologues like myself but just Joe and Jane Q. Workingclass. They will put up with political correctness and all that but not if you dis the flag or the country.
