Why does Literotica forbid the depiction of people under the age of 18 having sex? It is legal for a 16 year old to have sex nearly world wide. It's even legal for someone over the age of 18 to have sex with a 16 year old in most places, as long as it is consensual. This rule forces authors to create less than believable stories in order to ensure they aren't breaking the rules by writing about something that is perfectly normal.
Let's take a look at what Literotica does allow. Note that these are either illegal, immoral, sinful or a combination thereof. Many stories contain more than one of these elements.
Rape, incest, voyerism, indecent exposure, premarital sex, adultery, peeping, exhibitionism, physical abuse, emotional abuse and murder.
I'm not protesting this rule because I want to read about grown adults having sex with children. I'm tired of reading stories about adults with the emotional maturity of a 16 year old, or people who live at home well into adulthood, simply because the author wasn't allowed to make their character any younger.
Married Christians have sex? What a great story idea.I'm going to start my own married Christians having sex stories site.

I think if you're an adult who wants to have sex with a minor (or even read stories about having sex with a minor), you probably DO have the emotional maturity of a 16-year-old. So well done, Lit authors, for capturing reality!
Y'know, as much as I appreciate technology and the potential of what the future will bring, I sometimes shudder to think about what's going to happen when people will be able to 3D print their own sex dolls/bots and bring to humanoid form their unfettered lusts.![]()
Ahh hell. This again?
Well, he might also need help finding a story...
Well, then they won't be bitching they can't read about underage porn in an online forum and instead will be bitching about how sex with sex doll/bot isn't like truly ripping away the innocence of that 13-year-old girl they were hoping for.
Want to read about underage porn - go fucking find it. We all know it's out there somewhere in the dark recesses of the internet.
Fuck, I hate people today.
Every year there's a few nimrods who keep trying to push the underage buttons here, either with pics or complaining about the story restrictions.
...
Twice weekly sometimes. It's every week on the Authors' Hangout.![]()
I bet you would make the same argument about bestiality bro!
