Actually, many of them refer to the Resurrection of Christ. I also believe that the darkness and earthquake at the time of His death is also mentioned. Also, what about Josephus? Are you aware of the fact that there are MANY writings from Historians of His time?
What about the zombies?

Matthew 27:50And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
51Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
Did those resurrected saints have to die again and wait for the Second Coming, or are they still walking around Jerusalem?

None of which are contemporary with the alleged time of Jesus's life.
The passages in Josephus are commonly held to be forgeries added later.

I've seen the site you like to point to as your "proof".
It's a site run by a Baptist minister to promote sales of his misinformation to gullible sheep like yourself.

I still haven't found any independent confirmation of his so-called "sources", nor have I found much on those sources themselves.

The number of writing you say happened amount to diddly-squat, basically it's a argumentum ad populum. It would be like arguing Star Wars is real based on all the fan-fiction that's been produced.

So, FAIL.

Notice I haven't been swearing at you, but yet you still cannot or will not address any of my points or questions.

Either you can't defend your own faith by doing your own work and own thinking or you can't find the pat answer from the woefully ignorant, highly inaccurate sources of your dogma.

Basically, you got nothing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifixion_of_Jesus

The baptism of Jesus and his crucifixion are considered to be two historically certain facts about Jesus.[9][10] James Dunn states that these "two facts in the life of Jesus command almost universal assent" and "rank so high on the 'almost impossible to doubt or deny' scale of historical facts" that they are often the starting points for the study of the historical Jesus.[9] Bart Ehrman states that the crucifixion of Jesus on the orders of Pontius Pilate is the most certain element about him.[11] John Dominic Crossan states that the crucifixion of Jesus is as certain as any historical fact can be.[12] Eddy and Boyd state that it is now "firmly established" that there is non-Christian confirmation of the crucifixion of Jesus.[13] Craig Blomberg states that most scholars in the third quest for the historical Jesus consider the crucifixion indisputable.[4] Christopher M. Tuckett states that, although the exact reasons for the death of Jesus are hard to determine, one of the indisputable facts about him is that he was crucified.[14

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historicity_of_Jesus

Roman historian Tacitus referred to 'Christus' and his execution by Pontius Pilate in his Annals (written ca. AD 116), book 15, chapter 44.[38] The very negative tone of Tacitus' comments on Christians make the passage extremely unlikely to have been forged by a Christian scribe.[39] The Tacitus reference is now widely accepted as an independent confirmation of Christ's crucifixion,[40] although some scholars question the authenticity of the passage on various different grounds.[39][41][42][43][44][45][46][47]

Historian Michael Grant wrote that:

If we apply to the New Testament, as we should, the same sort of criteria as we should apply to other ancient writings containing historical material, we can no more reject Jesus' existence than we can reject the existence of a mass of pagan personages whose reality as historical figures is never questioned.[48]

I'm not reading through this whole thread. Frodo, are you our new Franklin? Do you like wearing women's panties and bras while trying to save sinners?

Oh no! Aren't Christians suppose to wear panties and bra's? Another thing I suck at. I just turned 50. You do not want those areas unleashed. You don't know where they will end up.:D

What Zombies? You mean like "The Walking Dead"?
How can you not know about the zombie saints of Jerusalem? It's in the freaking Gospel.

Matthew 27:51-53 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

They aren't Zombies. They were resurrected. Many Scholars believe that when Christ ascended to heaven that they went up with Him. If they didn't then they ran the natural course of their lives from the point that they were at. They would have died again.

God is not a liar, satan is. You are deceived.

God is not the liar. Humans are the liars. It is humanity which makes up stories, fables and myths.

Satan is the Great Deliverer. He freed humanity from the captivity of Eden. Without him we would be walking around naked with no knowledge, no science and no free will. In Eden humans were like pets held in ignorance.

Abraham had two sons, did he not? Ishmael first, then Isaac.

Genesis 22:2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah.":

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son.

What kind of bullshit is that?

By what theological rationale was their resurrection justified? The Bible essentially teaches, and I suspect you believe in, a dual nature of justification -- an Old Testament teaching of justification by adherence to Hebrew law and a New Testament justification by faith in Jesus Christ.

So at the time of Christ's crucifixion, unless these resurrected souls had ALL previously met and professed a saving faith in Jesus Christ PRIOR TO HIS RESURRECTION, UPON WHAT BASIS WERE THEY RESURRECTED?

I am sure you know that there is much controversy today over whether Jews who do not accept Christ as their savior will live eternally in heaven. If you happen to believe that doctrine, I am simply asking you to apply it to those resurrected souls at the time of Christ's crucifixion.

Many Christians like to pretend they have the intellect to offer an "apologia" for their faith as the New Testament commands. So far, I don't think you've done that too well.

Here's one more chance.

It's foreshadowing Christ. :) We deserve to go to hell for our sins. But Jesus took our place and was the sacrifice for our sins. In the story, God stops Abraham from sacrificing Isaac and gives him a ram instead.

Abraham was ready to sacrifice his son because he loved God. God loves us and did sacrifice his own son to save us. :)

Of course, it's only an allegory or a parable. Those people's stories were never real.

So when the Bible includes a verse saying that everything within it is true, that is actually a lie.

For examples, see post 666.

The bible is made up of a lot of different writing styles. You have stories that are real and some that are like movies that are "based on a true story." And you have stories that might be totally made up. Like the book of Tobit. Was Tobit a real person? Who knows? But what's important is the lessons it teaches about being faithful and trusting in the Lord.

The bible is a book of truths, but that doesn't make it a book of facts. :)
