What do you think the "October surprise"(s) will be re: this insane election?

I think Trump will release his "tax returns" (that is, a bullshit version of them). The press, Dems, and some Republicans will say they're fake / incomplete / not proper returns - which will be true - and Trump will say they're lying.

I think both sides will press harder on a disqualifying event, but that whatever the Dems try to stick Trump with will have more teeth.

I think there might be some previously-undisclosed Republican emails out there that'll come to light.

I think some personal witnesses might come forward to talk about shit Trump did to them that's a bit worse than what we've heard thus far.

Any other ideas?
 
The only thing Trumps tax returns will tell you is income passed to him personally via company holdings, nothing about the various corporations he owes in whole or in part. I believe his income is far less than people think. In the end releasing his tax returns will satisfy no one. His fans will be disappointed and his detractors will cry foul.

If this is illustrated through him releasing his real returns, that would be enough for the Dems. He's a man who defines himself by his supposed fortune.
 
I think Wikileaks is sitting on one or more Clinton bombshells and they're timing the release of them.

It won't sway votes in either direction. Anyone with half a brain would have a tax return with low income. Small paychecks are the norm for business owners.

I doubt it. They (wikileaks) are attention whores styled as Robin hoods. If they had the goods, we would have seen them.

For most of the things involving these two candidates, their supporters can't be swayed - true.

But I honestly think finding out Trump is a financial fraud would cause a few more Republican voters to stay home in November.

His tax returns will not reveal that he is a financial fraud. 100% not. That is not the way tax returns work. His personal records will be clean. Corporate ones, we will never know. That's where they slippery shit. Would happen. Corporate taxes.

Anybody who doubts Trump is a billionaire is a fool, and anybody who thinks his tax returns would prove otherwise is a bigger fool. Really rich people have lots of ways to avoid taxes.
