Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine were in Harrisburg this past Friday campaigning together. Now we learn from Hillary’s doctor, Lisa Bardack, MD, that Hillary was diagnosed on Friday with pneumonia.

This delayed announcement came on Sunday only after TV and web viewers watched the astonishing scene of Hillary swaying, staggering with legs akimbo, then falling into her waiting van. On CNN Sunday mid-afternoon, Dr. Sanjay Gupta barely held onto his job by swallowing his conscience, only to be squelched by Poppy Harlow, preventing him going out too far on the limb.

Eventually, they can defeat any antibiotic thrown at them and the patient is left with a low grade pneumonia waiting for Blitzkrieg any time the host is exhausted or stressed. That’s the definition of a typical modern President.

There is also viral pneumonia, which is even more difficult to cure than the one I just discussed, bacterial pneumonia. There are hardly any effective anti-virals for viral pneumonia and once you have it, you have it until the Grim Reaper comes for you. This is something for us all to contemplate seriously.

No, I think they should have told the truth originally, since it was inevitable she wouldn't be able to power through the schedule. But the reasons they didn't were obvious: to avoid the exact hysteria we're now seeing.

And just to clarify: there are two candidates in the race who have been less than forthcoming about their health, including the 70-year-old obese man who eats junk food all the time and belongs to the sex that dies on average five years earlier than women do.

As for why Clinton is coughing, I suspect I know the reason why: she's hoarse all the time. I yelled myself hoarse at a football game on Saturday and as a result spent a solid hour coughing nonstop. The idea that it HAS to be some sort of serious medical issue is silly.
