The Hightower Report takes a dig at Trump -o- nomics

September 9, 2016

"Trump's idea of "working class" turns out to be millionaires and billionaires..."

"His proposed tax cuts, for example, don't benefit low-wage workers at all and provide only a pittance of gain for those with middle-class paychecks, but corporations are given a huuuuuuuge windfall with a nearly 60% cut in their tax rate. This giveaway will also take $240 billion out of our public treasury – money desperately needed for such basics as expanding educational opportunities and restoring our nation's dilapidated infrastructure."

"What we have here is the same-old failed, elitist hokum that Republicans have been peddling for decades, only his is delivered with more bombast. Rhetoric aside, the reality of Trump's plan is to replace Ronald Reagan's trickle-down theory with his own arrogant, anti-worker scheme of TINKLE-down economics."

Education and infrastructure Democrats haven't given a flying fuckin' shit about while they have been filling their pockets.

"What we have here is the same-old failed, elitist hokum that Republicans have been peddling for decades"

And Democrats have done NOTHING about......EVER.

It's always fun to watch economic illiterates critique economic illiterates.

Dems and Repubs are all neoliberals, all anti-labour, all pro-WallSt and all pro-oligarch.

Trump Does Not Pay Losers

Trump does not pay losers, or reward losers. What does it mean for the people in America, that he considers to be losers?

Another group of human beings were socked in the jaw by reality.
They had the mistaken idea that they would be recognized and rewarded.

TRUMP CAMPAIGN STAFFERS QUIT AFTER NOT GETTING

September 9, 2016

Familiar pattern at work . Respectable and decent people. Qualified in their fields.
Hopefuls, lured by a picture of a promising future. Assurances, but nothing on paper.
Jumps through the hoop, on trust. Complete the work on faith.

They put their hope, their faith and their trust in something, and they had nothing solid to base it on.

"The Alexandria-based policy shop reportedly launched in April to help expand Trump’s messaging"

They did not know that Trump considers anyone that is not Trump, a loser.

Do you remember the film, "The Grifters" ?

There is something very wrong with Trump.

Animals have the instinct to flee when they happen upon an another animal that has rabies.

Trump considers himself the only grifter in a sea of marks. His new set of victims, did not know they had been sold out by a grifter, to a grifter.

What did Corey Lendowski tell Trump? Did he tell Trump that he had some fools that could be used and abused ?

"It was understood that we would be paid. The campaign never discussed how much the pay would be. It was never in writing,”

There were some people who were treating it as a full-time job.

People working at the campaign’s Beltway outpost walked out the door in August when the paychecks they say they were promised never arrive.

"Grifters got an irresistible urge to beat a guy who's wise. There's nothing to whipping a fool. Hell, fools are made to be whipped. But, to take another pro, even your partner, who knows you, and has his eye on you, that's a score, no matter what happens.

Funding for the policy shop dried up under campaign chair Paul Manafort, who effectively ousted Lewandowski

"as much as a grifter likes to take someone, there are those that despise the takers, no matter the amount."

"In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king. "

Efren Ramirez

Blindly following? Covering one eye, as they kiss his ring ? Looking at him with both eyes, and shivering. It is a husk, with something repellent, inside. Animal instinct speaks and it says to run, do not walk.

But, human beings are born to seek opportunity. The sociopath is able to exist, because it knows to camouflage the lack of a true heart. It covers itself in camouflage. Success, associations that pretend to be relationships. A human being can be tempted, just as an animal is lured by bait.

Trump has his boasts, and he boasts about his plans to have "the best" people. What is open to interpretation, is what is his definition, of best? The policy makers that were herded into his domain, were the good enough to reference. OTOH, he finds it best, to hire criminal minds. People that he understands, and people who understand him.

But, they are all losers, in Trump's book. Trump uses the word winning. What is his version of winning? The experts in policy, did not follow the rules that he uses for himself. They did not seek advantage, and a way to find themselves crowing, on top of the heap of people that he has defeated. "Those that are not me, are enemies." Trump, his underlings, and the losers. What does a grifter's version of a nation's economy, look like? When our nation is desperate, the Republican's first question is, "What is in it for me? What will you give me ? The Republican's most recent communication was, "Give me what I want, or I will not cooperate."

Idiotic nonsense parading as insight. Just for starters, how does the government talking less from the private sector that created the wealth constitute a "giveaway"? If I come and rob your house, but don't take all your money, I don't think you'd call it a giveaway.

Your "trickle down" theory of economics spurred the greatest economic boom the USA experienced at least since the end of WWII, if not the entire 20th century.

The USA already has the highest, at least nominal, corporate tax rate in the industrial world. No wonder companies are reluctant to repatriate earnings from foreign subsidiaries and that US companies are looking for ways to get bought out for foreign competitors. That's a real smart long-term economic plan!

No it didn't. All the indicators for the real economy show poor results in the neoliberal era compared to the prior Keynesian times of post ww2.

The US's effective corporate tax rate is about the lowest in the world outside Ireland.

1st, you are a fucking idiot.

2nd, hillary is no better

3rd, hillary will destroy what's left of the middle class.

4th, why does your kind love welfare? get a fucking job
