Category question. Joker has you kidnapped by his henchmen, does that automatically make it a celebrity story? In this case, Joker is just a side character, but the setting is Gotham.

The higher volume of the site could be a factor. DC doesn't seem to care about obscure Wonder Woman fanfics on blogspot but those likely have a few dozen readers tops.

The OP could always file the serial numbers off and call their villain like, Punchline or the Grin or something.

I don't think a fan fic on a erotic website with barely a few couple thousand views will be DC's concern. If it becomes famous, or graduates to a franchise, then you'll have something to worry about.

Worst case scenario, your story will be removed.
