Well I guess a nap is safer than shopping. The unfortunate alternative I deal with when I watch football.

I hate shopping, unless it's for books. I'd rather watch the sportsing if I'm forced to choose.

Now the "Neanderthals" - " GB trolling" thread.
 
The Neanderthals thread was moved to the looking for a story board and all of the posts have been reconnected to it.

I checked it both ways: via thread search in the Stories forum and via posts by user (mine and a couple of other posters) and it looks as of our posts have been deleted.

If I'm not mistaken: strange that it happened twice in two days, since it didn't break forum rules.
I guess it means that other forum mods. have a poor impression of the GB, and of all our drama.

When the thread was modified and moved to the GB I did some editing to "my" original post. I am sure it was not appreciated by the mods.

Yes, but still: even if some of us might have been a bit rude or whatever they might have thought of the posts,
those weren't even near some of the stuff that usually keeps floating around in the GB or even in other forums.
Odd that they chose to nuke those particular threads.

And I can watch games if I am in attendance but something about the sound of them on the TV is just instinctual to inducing sleep. Kind of like that turkey and dopamine and Thanksgiving nap thing.

I agree. I do not like the thread initiator being modified. I did not start the train wreck. So move it back to the GB. Big deal.

The mod that modified, moved, and deleted the fucker should use caution. The story search board could be very vulnerable to uppity GBers looking to have some fun while trying to find that special story.
 
Every time I've had any dealings with mods in this place they've turned out to be arseholes.
