I'd say in my time here 80%-so about 4/5 fall under the same three or four types. Seems like the ones I read on others stories are along the same.

I listed some options of what I get/see the most.

Vote for the one you see the most.

My vote is for sequel/more chapters. I swear I could write a story where all the characters die in the end and someone would as for more chapters.

For incest, the majority of comments ask for sequels. It's become a slight peeve of mine, although I do appreciate it and take it as a compliment. Especially since, looking at my profile, it's clear I don't write sequels. All the fun is in the buildup, not the follow up, at least for my stories.

Most incest readers are conditioned to getting sequels and long chaptered stories, which is fine. Not my thing to do though. I like making new ones.

Also, incest has a lot of posters who tell their story, which I highly doubt ever happened. I guess it's their way of expressing their fantasy, which I don't mind them doing on my comments area.

Aside from the occasional asshole, my comments are a healthy mix of 1, 3, 5, and 6, but 1 is definitely the winner here.

When I posted my first story it received, by far, the most nasty comments of anything I have on Lit. But the readers who loved it LOVED it. Back then, I thought that type of comment meant more than it actually does. My story is their favorite until they read their next favorite.

Don't get me wrong--I still feel like the shit whenever I see it :D

I'm in the same boat, except for SWB most of my stuff is one off so you would think they would figure that out.

I also wonder if they ever look at when a story was written. I get when's the sequel? On a story from 2011 all the time.

Does incest have a lot of long running series? I've never really looked. I always associate sci fi and non human with long running stories.

When I post new incest stories, it's guaranteed that I'll receive at least a dozen feedback emails from men who don't just want to tell me their "true" stories; they want to hear mine. And then role play.

I look at the incest Hub everyday. Roughly half of them, or at least 40%, are sequels.

I was just checking after I responded to you, you're right.

When I first started here there were some long popular ones Conflicted probably the top draw at that time, then that trend seemed to fade away, guess everything is cyclical.

Haha. Me too! When I first started getting comments, I must have thought I was some kind of erotica savant. Finally, I found my calling! Now I'm a bit more measured.

I mostly get comments requesting more, which is my fault, I guess, for writing something short. As a matter of fact, I need to get some work done today.

Well, it beats not getting that type of comment at all, right? lol

Yeah. You really do. And so do I. I'm hoping to break 500 words tonight. :D

I think the best 'you suck' type comment I ever got was one that was a 'real life' one. I did a radio interview a couple months ago and there weren't open phone lines-fortunately-but people could e-mail questions or comments.

The host would post links on the shows FB page a week ahead of time so people could buy the book if they were interested.

After the show he showed me an e-mail someone had sent in saying they read my book and it was filth written by filth and I should never be allowed to write again.

My first reaction was "A lit troll" then I realized no one on lit knew about the interview until after the fact.:(

I only have one story up, and only one comment lol. He/she really liked it and hopes it doesn't take long for future chapters to appear so I marked 1 and 3.

I think I'd rank them:

1. Loved the story (without further feedback).
2. Actual constructive feedback.
3. Asking for a sequel (on one story in particular).
4. Insightful or thought-provoking.
5. Hated it (either sans further comment or occasionally with added ranting).

Never had someone use my comments section to publish their own story, I'm looking forward to that one.

(Oh, I did get one variant of number 1 which was a bit alarming: "I totally want to try this!" A couple of comments on a story whose very premise is that the thing they want to "try" landed the protagonist in jail. Which is part of why I'm reluctant to do sequels for that one...)

I post a lot in Loving Wives so mostly I get the "You Suck" comments. But if the assholes don't like you, you must be doing something right.

On my Group Sex stories I get a lot more positive comments and my scores are higher.

My most recent post ended with three characters (ghosts) obliterated in an explosion and fire and two characters married, and I got a comment like "I'm looking forward to more."

I laughed about the response, since I've heard other authors comment about it. Then I realized that what the reader was looking forward to probably wasn't a continuation of that story, but more posts by me along the same line. I mean really, *that* story was done.

So shortsighted...

The married couple could have a baby who, in the womb, is possessed by the three ghosts, what with their having nowhere else to go, being obliterated and all.

Bam. Get to it.

Impregnate her

In my very humble and not experienced opinion. (only 1 story) The one comment I got a lot from my incest story was to impregnate her.

I also voted for sequel because I got that one a lot too maybe even more than impregnate her.

I don't know why so many people ask for this one. Well maybe I do but it may not be where I want the characters to go.

there's a definite ... uhm ... niche out there for the impregnation sequel to an incest piece. not had it for a while now, however.

Options not on the list, but I get them a lot:

Can I PM you?

Do you do this in real life?

Are you attached?

My most common comment is no comment at all received. Just a silent vote.
