I got the first part of a longer story submitted and posted this am and so far I've gotten some really good response to it.
I was afraid it was too over the top romantic and not enough sex for most people here but people seem to really like it, so much so that I went ahead and submitted part 2 and I hope it gets approved and posted quickly!
I love that I've already gotten 3 comments on it! All positive A lot of people favoriting it, ok not a super huge amount, but 7 people is a lot for me! hehehe

Is there a way to directly reply to a comment? I didn't see that option but I can be blind to things right in front of me!

Things have been crazy here. My kids started back to school on August 17 and my youngest daughter has been struggling. She is 11, has Graves disease, asthma and is allergic to the world! She's missed so many days already that a few days ago I made the decision to homeschool her this year. The past few days have been crazy trying to figure out if I can do this, finding resources, and just trying to make it work for us. We did our first practice day today to see if it was going to be a good fit for us and it went amazing today!

So people seem to like my writing, and I thin I'm going to homeschool my baby, today is a great day!

I never listen to gossip. Ok I might listen but I usually dismiss it and make my own judgments. I think you're a good egg
You're up front and honest and I much prefer that over people who pussyfoot around, or tell you good things to make you feel good.

Good for you, on both counts. Homeschooling isn't the solution for everyone, but there are times when it can be the best match. Several of my godsons were homeschooled for at least part of their childhoods, they mostly finished back in mainstream education for formal exams, and neither they nor their parents have any regrets.

For a couple of them, dyslexia wasn't being supported properly at the school (it was simply accepted as normal for a 10 year old boy not to be able to read at all). One of the others became school phobic, and a couple of years at home did him the world of good. Socialising was done by sending them to judo classes and also having days out with other homeschooling children (connected up via Education Otherwise - the USA probably has a similar support organisation).

It'll be hard work for you, but oh so worth it.

Today went great, I know we'll have a lot of bumps in the road as we figure it all out, but the end result will be worth the little inconveniences.

I'm not worried about her socializing, she's one of 8 kids, LOL! And all her siblings have friends over all the time, and she babysits for a family with 6 kids! Always a bunch of kids hanging around here.

I don't think there is a way to reply directly to Anonymous, the only way is to leave a comment on your story and hope they come back and see it. I read your story and I liked it, I'll keep a lookout for Ch. 2.

I keep waiting/hoping to see approved next to part 2 but it still just says pending. Maybe everyone working at Lit took the long holiday weekend off
