Missed Connections - second chances

Hi Everybody!

I'm a long time reader, and finally working on my first submission to Lit.

This happened to me in real life, and I'd very much love the opportunity to see how you'd take this.

Premise: You are the maid of honor/best man for a friend marrying across the country (or someplace far enough to make a normal relationship impossible). You are in a newly committed relationship and your SO did not accompany you on this trip. You meet your friend's future spouse's brother/sister. You spend the next 72 hours together. The wedding is over and you're expected to retire for the evening. You fly out the next morning, and the two of you have connecting rooms in the hotel.

The night passes (how you choose to interpret this is up to you).

For those who would indulge me, take it one step further...

10 years have passed and you're invited back for a vow renewal ceremony... what happens now?

This being LIT, there'll be screwing at both the wedding and the renewal. The spouses / partners may find out. There may be repercussions. You're the author -- it's up to you. How do you want the story to end? Visualize an ending and craft the story to it. Decide whether you want comedy, tragedy, romance, revenge, whatever.

Possible endings:

* A stranger rings your doorbell. "You've been served!"
* You're writing a confession just before your execution.
* All the principals are fucking together in a grand orgy.
* All principals are hiding from each other under odd beds.
* You look back at sweet times that can never return.
* You're awakened in your cheating bed by camera flashes.
* A clever relative cackles -- they arranged all the infidelities.

I like the "ten year later vow renewal" idea. The protagonist is nervous as hell, wondering if his long-ago one night stand paramour will be there, will she still be beautiful, will she still want to fuck him? He arrives, only to found out she has had sex reassignment surgery - she is now a man! Fortunately, he has also had a change - he is now bisexual. New adventures ensue......

Alas, they cannot be, for one is a Tromper and the other is hot for Hillary. Or maybe their ideological antagonism provokes much anal intercourse. "I'll do to you what your candidate will do to the nation!" Cue the un-lubed sodomy.

Other possibilities, with or without gender changes:

* They have both joined the same (or rival) post-apocalyptic cult(s).
* They both silently stalked the other online at one time or another.
* They discover they're long-lost fraternal twins, adopted after birth.
* They have unknowingly collaborated or role-played on LIT for years.
* Sighting each other, they scream, strip, and fuck loudly and publicly.
* The renewal is held at an erotic resort. Everybody fucks everybody.
