Yes I tried the search function and literally got nothing which I found as odd. But anyway getting to the point of this thread. My fiance and I been bareback since we met and never used a condom.

However, with us going to Jamaica in Feb 2017 she is paranoid about getting pregnant and it interfering with our fun at the island. At first we did the pull-out but she is worried about me not pulling out in time.

So here we are considering condoms which quite frankly was never a fan of but the present situation calls for it.

At 42 and not having slapped on a rubber for a few decades I am so out of touch and there are so many choices. From what I remember, I used to use rib for her pleasure, and found Trojans really smelled. Short of that I got nothing. I see commercials about these condoms causing pleasure to her and it appears they are not ribbed so not sure if I get how.

So any suggestions are welcome.

you use no other protection against an unplanned pregnancy (unwanted, probably, on your part) than withdrawal? no contraceptive implant/coil/anything? seems a big risk to take for a couple - one of whom would prefer not to father children and the other who's not committed to the idea of motherhood. personally, i'd say that's more of an issue than choosing which condoms. what would you both do if faced with the news of a positive pregnancy test?

Yeah, this flummoxed me too - my guess is that if you've not gotten pregnant yet using the 'hope for the best' method, you're probably not going to. You're probably also going to hate condoms if you haven't used them for decades. Can't you get fixed, and put some ice before you do so there's back up in case you do decide to have a baby?

A little trick on using condoms, buy a lube (K-Y tingling jell is a good one to use) and put it on before you put on the condom, it enhances the feeling, almost like you didn't have one on......almost. But it's better than any other way I've tried.
