I wasn't doing it for attention (or not for That type of attention, anyway).

I was trying to unmask an attack alt (who's behind the despicable Darbhinder racist and xenophobic namecaller: Disgustipated or RobDownSouth).

I posted because I was struck by how closely (timewise) Disgustipated and Darbhinder post, and by the fact that both of them (D and D) appear to complete each other's ideas and even sentences.
Unless RobDownSouth is doing this on purpose, to shift the suspicions towards Disgustipated.

Of course, that could be every Dr. Phil show I suppose.

I really don't get the appeal of Dr. Phil. It's the least substantive show relying on a psychology credential I've ever seen. At least with other shows, like Loveline, you had a comedian providing the entertainment and a licensed professional providing sane, very carefully worded advice often with referrals to local professionals.

With this show, it's basically watching a fat, balding white Southern man of privilege lecture and abuse desperate people for entertainment. I really don't get why that is the basis of a television show. It's not like there is a shortage of shitty psychologists, outspoken angry old men who have had everything in life handed to them, or people in authority punching down. You're bombarded with that shit everywhere.

Also, the guy doesn't even currently have a psychology credential, the credential he did have was from one of the shittiest school in Texas--and let's be real Texas isn't exactly California or Massachusetts in this department--he was reprimanded by the state board in Texas for unethical practice, and on and on. Why people treat him like he's a legitimate mental health professional is just fucking beyond me.
