I agree with Ricky, in theory. Telling me I shouldn't do something can be effective. Telling me I can't will often have me proving you wrong.
I like a challenge, so I tend to push myself just beyond my comfort zone in all things. Particularly if it's a mental or intellectual boundary. I try harder, learn more, give 110%. (I'm a nerd.)
Killing people? *gulp* You shouldn't freak me out so early in the morning.
If I'm walking down the street and out of the blue whip out a gun and start shooting is something I shouldn't do. I understand that. However, if someone breaks into my house and has a loaded gun and fires it at me, then, "can't kill" isn't applicable.
