Any success stories? Yay? Nay?

Meadows starting to lose her legs when she gets up from laying down and I wonder if this may help her out.

Theres a ton of kinds too so if anyone has any suggestions, recs etc.

When my golden tore his knee, I took him to two vets. Both recommend it. Each told me to get the Costco brand, as it is the purest form without any junk in it.
We are now giving it to our senior dog as well, he is old and beginning to have joint issues.

All of this talk makes me sad. I Love my sweet Pup so much that the thought of him having problems later in his life already breaks my heart. He's my first dog EVER. I never knew you could love a dog so much.

Well I have to start her on it. Poor girl fell getting out of her cage and I had to help her up.

:(

Ohh, that's so sad. I hope she's not in pain.

I had Duncan at the Vet late this afternoon. He has allergies.. lol

Allergies? lol What a woos.

She gets stiff from laying so long and it takes a minute to get her legs under her.

When she has to poop she runs around like a 1 year old puppy.

We just did the ACL surgery on the Golden. He is only 4, so just a youngster.

Our older dog is about 15-16? With rest, he gets up and limps. Once he gets going he does ok.

Mona, our older dog also has allergies. He gets a Benadryl.

Killy, if you decide to supplement, check with your vet for dosage. They need more than a human.

Can't I just give them what it says on the box???

Im not going to the vet.

My boxer was days away from amputation. I did a last minute second opinion at another vet. He suggested Cosequin. According to original vet, she should have died long ago from pain. But after seeing second vet,we started cosequin. It's been four years. She's got all of her legs still, and runs like a gazelle. Still can't catch those rabbits, but she tries and that's what matters. Cosequin changed her life.

Woos? You're making fun of her dog's issue in a thread bemoaning your dog's issue? Keepin' it classy as usual, killswitch1.

I saw that you got your ass kicked -again- the other day lmao…

If it's any comfort, I never felt harassed by you, even though I think you're an asshat. :rose:

Hei, where did you go?
Ignoring me, now?

I have a friend who is a vet assistant and her dogs are elderly and she does hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate supplements, a health journal (noting what the dogs are eating and if the arthritis is worse or better based on their response to what they've been eating including treats) and turmeric, apple cider vinegar, manuka honey etc.

But please consult your vet first 'cos I'd hate for my advice (which is not advice from a vet, animal expert) to cause any harm or discomfort to meadow.

I miss my milo so much but our ginger silly cat helps fills the gap a bit. :)
