As a NYer, I can tell you that Rudy hasn't been relevant in many a year.
Trump supporters don't know that. Chris Christie has a 26% tops approval rating back home, yet the crowd goes wild when he did his Scarlet Letter mock trial. My cop and firemen friends hate Giuliani.

Trumps comment could be interpreted any number of ways. Guess you forgot there is something called congress, with Senators who have to approve SCOTUS nominations. Maybe those 2A guys can pressure their senators to not approve anybody? Naw that is not incindary enough.
