A mature mother of an 20 yr old girl.
She is getting married in a month and plans are being made.
Mother ask future son-in-law to help clean out a spare bedroom so it can be used by any guests that needed it.
As he cleans and moves boxes he stumbles across some old VHS tapes and nudie magazines with pages ear marked and a smaller box containing photos.
He opens up one of the magazines to an ear marked page and is shocked to see his future wife's mom, at a younger age, posing nude. He continues to look at the magazines and finds many such photos and is now very curious as to whats on those tapes and the small box of polaroids

Love It

Love it. What a great storyline. So much could be done with this and my mind is racing already.

So wickedly sensual, love to read a story based on that supposition...

Well I'm not much of a writer so I do hope someone does write it.
I'm willing to help with suggestions and ideas if needed :)

I may work on this idea to work through blocks on other works.

damn those blocks... so many... and they are so big...

Here's a twist. He can't find a VHS machine to watch the tapes, because they don't make them any more. :D

Every time I read the thread title my brain flips it around to the Fiancee's Daughter. Or the Fiance's Daughter if you want to write sapphic.

Fortunately his buddy at the CostCo photo counter runs the machine that transfers obsolete videos to DVDs. All sorts of complications could arise from the buddy's behavior. Be inventive.

Do we want to think that the mother intentionally wanted him
To find them?
Ya think? Does he get all dirty-dusty whilst moving boxes and so must shower? (We know what happens in showers.) Or does he just look up from the magazines and Polaroids to see scantily-clad Mom in the doorway? She's tennis-toned, of course.

The punchline could echo an old joke. She displays her charms and purrs, "Fuck me, Roy." Roy rises, brushes past her, and heads out the front door. Outside he finds his bride-to-be and her husky father and brothers smiling at him. "Congratulations, son, for resisting temptation!" her father says. Moral of the story: Always leave your condoms in your car's glove compartment.

Ah, but they do. :)
Ah, but no more.

FORBES, July 23, 2016 -- RIP VHS: World's Last VCR Will Be Made This Month -- Japan’s Funai Electric, a company that claims to be the last manufacturer of videocassette recorders (VCRs), will manufacture its last VHS player this month. Funai, which manufacturers the VCRs in China for Sanyo, says the decision comes after selling only 750,000 units last year, down from a peak of 15 million units per year. The decreased production numbers have made parts costly and difficult to source, the company says.

I always preferred BetaMax but also had a lot (like, tons) of VHS and CED. Oh shit, the money I've wasted on home video stuff... and I never watch any of it anymore. It's all either a fucking waste, or my cultural heritage, or both.

Anyway, VHS has been extinct for a least a month now. The sky has not yet fallen. Humanity may survive this catastrophe. But what did the dinosaurs think when they saw that meteor?

I digress. Players and converters will exist for a decade, at least. Old media are not irretrievable. (I think I still have a 16" turntable that plays records at 16 2/3 RPM, 33 1/3 RPM, 45 RPM, and 78 RPM.) Devices exist to read and play audio cylinders. Modern tools non-destructively read old grooves with lasers, not needles. Older recording technologies have also been reactivated. Almost any ancient data can be retrieved if we but try hard enough.
