I do not like coffee, but I do really enjoy smelling it brewing in the mornings. The taste never lives up to the smell.

Would you like me to make you some tea instead? I must admit my tea collection is far more extensive than my coffee collection - it just doesn't have the same caffeine bite I need to function (nicely).

That would be wonderful. I do love tea. I tend to start my day with water, plain. Shaken, not stirred.

That school that wants to enforce a new dress code policy along with a ban on cornrolls in student's hairz, tho.

if he keeps blowing air into them
they live for a bit, i suppose...

and if later, he blows them again,
sometimes they move some

but mostly,
untouched and quickly forgotten.

inanimate at birth;
even those born of spittle and borrowed fire

It is one of my favorite smells but I do not like the taste. I have this wonderful espresso candle that is very strong and I inhale deeply to help me calm during turbulent times.

The coffee aisle is one of my favorites in the stores that still have the huge bins of beans. Ahhhhhhh.

Yeah but theres nothing better than a fresh opened bag. That bulk stuffs been sittin around.

My fave aisle in the grocery was always frozen foods.

Because. Nipples.

It's a goddamned miracle I didn't break a leg or an ankle. Half the time, you can't even see the frickin' trail because it's covered by ferns and undergrowth. Holes all over the place down by the damn river bank. I can't see where the fuck I'm planting my feet. Mud all over— and I'm slipping and sliding. The bridge is full of snakes. The stream crossings were waist high this year because of the recent rain. Half the course is through briars and brambles. It is, at best, a game trail— and I'm not even sure the damn game would use it. It almost got to the point where I was crawling on my hands and knees bushwhacking.

I was seven goddamned minutes slower this year. I hope that's because the course was in much worse condition. I'll have to compare my results to other folks to see if their times were worse year-over-year.

Why the fuck did I do this?

well, verizon may charge you out the ass and the idiots they have working at their stores may be complete morons completely incapable of getting even the simplest thing correct, but at least their insurance claims are easy peasy. that's something.

I'm in that boat, too. In general I don't like hot beverages. Coffee is the most annoying because it really does smell wonderful, but tastes gross.
