He didn't say they said that, ya dope.
If he can't tell the vast majority of the press has been against Trump from the moment he announced he was running, he's the dope.

I rarely pick up a paper and I have no TV. well actually I have one but it's not connected to anything not even over the air signals. From a technology standpoint, I'm probably living more Eyer than Eyer. When I turn on the radio it's for music.
At what point did you get the idea the press want Donald Trump to become the next president?
They don't particularly want Trump to win.
They want controversy...controversy sells paper, Trump creates controversy.
Connect the dots.
Also, the press always frames an election as a "tight horserace", even if the leader is ten points or more ahead.
Even FOX it's going to support Clinton over Trump, but they will be in a subtle manner not very detectable by their core audience. Rupert, along with owners of all other media outlets, does not want Trump elected. He wants to flood us with immigrants, same as most Democrats and Republican-owned corporations. Watch those guys come out for Clinton too.
You're right, but it's not that subtle, in my opinion. Murdoch has made it clear he doesn't like Trump. A lot of the FOX News audience, if you mean conservatives, do see the bias, by the way. The only guy they really think is on their side, and Trump's side, is Sean Hannity. Most of them don't even have good things to say about Bill O'Reilly.
All you have to do is look at the FOX polls to see how they lean.
FOX is not going to work for her majesty.
What they are going to do is not work against her or for Trump.
What everyone else will be doing is openly, and without a sense of shame or ethical remorse, is working for her and against him.
This will lend to FOX an appearance of working "subtly" for her...
Murdoch is a part of the non-partisan organization of politicians and CEOs who want to flood the US with immigrants to lower US wages, from skilled H1B workers to unskilled "Syrians". When the chairman of News Corp and the chairman of Disney sits on the same board pushing this agenda (along with Richie riches like Bloomberg), you know what's coming. Full court press against Trump.
(You might be right about the lack of subtlety on Fox, I don't really watch it, that was a guess)

They will have something to do.
Riot, loot and burn...

You have it essentially right, but there are two distinct camps.
The multi-nationals, especially hi-tech, are hell bent for leather to run the H1-B scam. They end up with what are essentially indentured servants for five years. They get to impose all sorts of abuses on them under the threat of being kicked out of the country if they bitch or don't perform to 'expectations.'
The other camp that wants to flood the nation with the uneducated, unskilled, and unhealthy are primarily liberals with a smattering of certain businesses (the hotel industry is one). Their reasons are simply that the Ponzi schemes they set up (SS, medicare, medicaid) are going bust at an alarming rate. Their desire is to get as many bodies paying payroll taxes as is humanly possible. The problem they face is that these peons consume more of the economy than they pay in taxes. They are a net drag. Further, as cities, states, and the Feds. mandate higher wages and more employer benefits the incentive to automate (robotics is the coming wave) becomes damn near an imperative. A great many of these illegal aliens will have NOTHING to do. No reason for being here in the first place, let alone sucking off the government teat. Of course they could outlaw robotics (except for certain industries that can pay outrageous lobbying fees) and I expect to see such legislation proposed by some legislators in the not too distant future.
The two groups have two different objectives but for either one to realize their goals they HAVE to compromise with the other side. Compromises made in hell and the result of having to sell the citizen out, regardless of their race or creed. If you are a natural born citizen..........you're fucked.

Yeah, zero population growth with an underfunded, pay as you go ponzi scheme called social security.
That will fix things.
Better hurry up. Lights out manufacturing gains more momentum by the minute.
I'm betting that the hotel industry is investing in robots that will replace the house cleaning staff.

It's funny how conservatives dismiss SS as a ponzi scheme, when it's been one of the most magnificently successful programs in the history of the world... and yet, they put full faith in the stock market, which has literally wiped out trillions of dollars of personal wealth in the middle class within the last decade. Meanwhile, the people at the top are better off than they've ever been.
Which is the true ponzi scheme, I wonder?
The one that fits the definition of a Ponzi scheme.
Yup. Try setting up an investment group that operates on the same principles as SS and then get back to me from your prison cell.
Ishmael
SS would be in much better shape today than it is if politicians had simply left its funds alone, as they should have, instead of dipping into them when the funds were flush. They also should never have put a cap on contributions, in my opinion. Certainly should have made the cap higher than it is, at the very least, and definitely should make it higher now. Much higher.
Show me a politician, especially a democrat, that can resist the temptation of stuffing their hands in your wallet?
