Everything IS about sex. The biological imperative for all creatures is to reproduce, to create future generations. Humans are no different. Everything we do is about attracting a suitable mating partner, or a series of them. Men and women use very different sorting functions. Natural selection does the rest. We may fool the system with contraceptives, but we're still reacting to the same pheromones and hormones and synapses as the most primitive of beasts.

Sex, as NRB pointed out, is only about power for those for whom everything is about power. It's a really sad life if you think about it too much. For many of us tho, it is about connection. It is one of our purest forms of expression, of communication. Lust, the driver of our biological imperative, is always shaping the narrative. :cool:

What I love most about sex is the connection between me and my partner. I know every spot that turns her on and I love to touch and tease her. I find that I tend to normally consider myself the after thought. It's been amazing with her. 12 years together and still finding new and fun ways to connect.
