Whether it's someone local or a big headline concert, who have you seen?

Where did you see them? What do you remember about the concert?

Who was your first? Who would you follow around, if you could?

Who do you want to see?

cascadia called it melomania...

There are few I need to look up. Nice list. Van Morrison!

Sitting around fire pit, drink in hand waiting for nude swimming party story to begin...

Never saw any of the Jazz greats. Miles, Armstrong, Coltrane, bill Evans..
I move from rock to jazz, but I still pull out my collection. Anything after the 80's, I just catch on the fly.

Zevon's, muddy waters. Would halons to have seen them too.

How about you?

(I'll relay the swim story)

I'll add Pink Floyd as one I missed.
Gilmore is plays such a moving guitar.

I saw him on one of the music channels.
It's been a good while back. Nice to hear he still performs.

One of their first of many Farewell Tours.
No Keith Moon, but I did get to see Entwistle quite a few times.
Also saw them perform Tommy once and Quadrophenia twice.

Good times.

Judas Priest.

Peed outside. Apparently in a patch of poison ivy. I was 15 and had and awesome time explaining how it happened to my pediatrician.

Heart. Saw them many times.
Kissed the most random boys at Heart. It's Ann's voice.

Deep Purple. Took 2 hits of purple double barrel mescaline and freaked out during Highway Star.

I have more...

I saw Heart and Bachman Turner Overdrive - 1978, I think.

The cutest boy in school asked me to go at the very end of the summer, it was out of left field. I was so excited.

I threw up.

:(

First concert, Queen.

Second Peter Frampton.

I saw Chicago - I went because I was a reporter for my school paper and reviewed them. I still have the article!

Lynyrd Skynyrd, the year before their plane crashed.

Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.

Steve Miller Band & the Eagles - outdoor stadium

My dad took me to see John Denver

Jackson Browne

This was all in highschool - 1976 - 78...

Let's just say I was pretty naive and I thought I could handle beer, weed and shots.

Most wasted I ever got at a concert was Lita Ford, Twisted Sister and Ratt at the Pier in The City.

It was soooo bad I still can't remember the full details.

Plus a host of other local bands/support acts/bands who I don't remember and who would mean nothing to you..

Booked to see The Mission and Peter Murphy in September. Wanted to go see Ministry but it's the day we arrive back from holiday so jetlag...

Loads of bands I'd like to see but haven't yet.....Slipknot would be amazing...also Editors, Maccabees, Fatboy Slim, Disclosure, Bastille, RHCP...The kids wouldn't let me go with them to watch Twenty One Pilots and I'd have felt totally out of place, but they put on an amazing show....that drummer is incredible.
