There is support for Clive and his sons and then there is support for what they represent. I support the larger picture. Clive himself is borderline, if not over the line, batshit crazy.

So it's OK to point your weapons at law enforcement officers, if you feel your human rights are being denied. That needs to be in the Constitution.

I know what it's about. You supported there armed takeover of a federal facility and even the use of force to repel authorities if they moved in.

But a skinny black woman doesn't put her feet back in the car fast enough and she deserves to be body slammed to the ground.

The real question is do you have the introspection and honesty to know what it's about?

That's very interesting, but NOT what you were saying when the whole thing was unfolding. If I remember right you were voicing complete support for Bundy and sons without any qualifiers such as you detail above. Of course you are free to go back and quote anything you said then that would refute my claim and I will, unlike you, admit my mistake openly. But I don't think you can. In fact I think you'll play the Ish card and tell me to do my own damned research, in essence refusing to supply any facts.

And of course I expected your sarcastic and belittling remarks. Those who are afraid they are wrong, who refuse to admit they are wrong, are always on the offensive. I'm sure you think everyone will either quail in fear of your intellect or stand dumbfounded by your perceived over powering avalanche of condescension. I am well aware of the issues in this situation and I believe they are no where near as complicated as you would have us believe they are. In actuality they are rather simple.

Mr. Bundy and people like him because they use government owned land (read owned by you and me), because it is physically located in their neighborhood, they think they should own it or have free use of it.

That's all there is to it. All the other things you mention in your thread HERE are separate issues, no matter how you try to mush them together. What you're trying to do is the snake oil sales talk, keep talking and keep them confused and they will never know what is actually being sold.

You keep saying that one of the problems is the government constantly acquiring land. And they can't keep up with the maintenance of it, or that they don't try.

On the first issue, just how much land have the feds acquired lately? In this state I can tell you it doesn't amount to a hell of a lot. Yes we have a lot of federal land here, but the vast majority of it has been under federal management for 100 years or more. So where is all this NEWLY acquired land the feds have?

As far as using aircraft for wild land firefighting, unless you have a road network that rivals Los Angeles (which you are never going to get close to having in a wilderness area) and a close source of water, aircraft are the best option for fighting fires. I've lived close to and worked in a Nation Forest all my life and I can tell you for a fact that using aircraft is expensive, but it's not done because roads were closed or removed. It is done because it's WILDERNESS area and aircraft are the best option for that kind of work.

If you watch the helicopter video footage of Lavoy Finicum's death, the police shot him while he had his hands up in the air after he exited his truck, which was stopped.

Even after he was lying face-down on the ground after being shot a dozen or more times at close range while surrendering with his up, a police officer or federal agent (not sure which one) approached him from behind and shot him in the back of his head to make absolutely sure that he was dead.

The feds/police set up a road block with the sole intention to ambush and kill him.

His death was a deliberate targeted assassination and not a case of police self-defense.

The police account of what happened and what is shown in the helicopter footage tell two completely different stories.

Lavoy Finicum's death was an open and shut case of state-sponsored murder/assassination.
