Here's my take on it. Laurel likely did a "temp" ban on him like she did with Ish and some others lately. An apology and promise to not sin again likely would've gotten him unbanned. Miles being Miles, though, he wasn't about to apologize for anything and became even angrier about the whole thing to the point he completely lost it and told Laurel to just nuke his account, which she did.

Does he regret it now? Maybe. Will he come back using another nick? Most likely in time. It's likely he already has a "new" nick he created either recently or in the past, but just isn't ready to reveal himself yet.
