I just wanted to say hello to all the lovely people of Lit. I've been registered for awhile now, but lurking and reading mostly. I've decided to take a leap and jump in and join the fun.

I'm a young-looking (and acting) 51 y/o wife and mother in the United States. I've had longings for a D/s relationship for a long time now, but have been unsuccessful in getting my husband interested. I've followed all the wise advice to do it slowly, show him stories/articles, websites, etc. But in the end, "it's just not who he is."

So here I am, living vicariously through the stories on Lit. Just hoping to make some connections with people who understand where I'm at and can offer support and encouragement. It gets quite frustrating and lonely at times as I struggle through.

I think you need to find the thread that is about that and someone issues it to you.

Or you could just add it to your signature and make up the number. I think I'm going to choose #36,018 so you'll have to come up with something different than that.
