Super newb here. So Idk where to ask, feedback, ideas on what should happen next? I'm looking for a place to brainstorm more. I have the outline in my head already.

There isn't a place on the site of forum for posting draft stories, but you can ask in the Editors' Forum for somebody who's willing to look it over; then you can swap contact info via private message (make sure yours is switched on) and email them your draft.

or, just edit your post to cut out the scene. amend it to a simple request for help and see what comes up.

Besides there are always people like you to quote ver batim every law and statute that they can use to hold that tiny idea of power in their head.
