programs to make gay people straight (obviously voodoo science), and even more restrictive public restroom laws. It doesn't matter what Trump says. That's the platform they're sticking to. Trump thanked the thievangelicals who really did get him the nomination. Those are the same thievangelicals who just cost North Carolina $100,000,000. That's one hundred million dollars North Carolina won't get. That doesn't count all the companies that have pulled out of North Carolina or are going to pull out. This is job creation. Trump owes the thievangelicals big time. They'll get their pound of flesh.

The meaningless platform aside...

;)

What did you think of Peter Thiel's speech and the standing ovation he received?

Is that what haters do?

Yes. Talk is cheap. What the clowns in the House of Representatives do is what matters. The North Carolina delegates' cheers don't mean squat. They support the clowns that just cost NC another $100,000,000. Thiel has also said "giving women the right to vote has damaged capitalist democracy."

I'll repeat that. Thiel believes giving women the right to vote has damaged capitalist democracy. Maybe he's not gay. Maybe he just really, really, really hates women.

What's his stand on abortion? "Not my pig, not my farm."

Thiel's views on the NBA pulling out of North Carolina: "Not my pig, not my farm."

Maybe they gave him a standing ovation because he bankrolled Ted Cruz's failed campaign. Let's face it, those delegates can't connect the dots.

They cheer Thiel and boo Cruz. That make's sense only in terms of PR.

Although, the gay folk on these Lit. forums seem to really like being treated like crap.

Giving women the vote did damage capitalist democracy. Women in all studies are generally found to be much more sympathetic to the needs of children, the sick and aged. It was a massive boost to social democracy.

I thought so.

I mean, if they could they wouldn't be there.

Eeyore quotes himself. Careful.
