They are nearly harmless, HP; I've been bitten by them often, and their tiny uniconal teeth just draw a little blood.

Manitoba has some great dens where thousands of garter snakes over winter.

Unless you really tick them off! I knew a girl who had one she was teasing clamp on to her hand and wouldn't let go for love or money.

It's the water. There has been so much snow, and then so much rain. The landscape is usually red earth, and yellow plants.
