One of my co-workers considers all snakes a P.I.T.A. but I think the little garter snake in my yard is quite cute.

They are nearly harmless, HP; I've been bitten by them often, and their tiny uniconal teeth just draw a little blood.
Manitoba has some great dens where thousands of garter snakes over winter.
Unless you really tick them off! I knew a girl who had one she was teasing clamp on to her hand and wouldn't let go for love or money.
