Partial to ales and pilsners, but as I said trying different styles when opportunity arises. Recently sampled some sours...won't do that again.

I love good beer. A good porter (Sierra Nevada), a nice IPA (Lagunitas)... a meal-like dose of Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout(Anderson Valley)...or even a lager or golden ale (Kona).

Never had a sour... that I'm aware of, anyway.

I prefer a good double IPA---my favorite is 120 minute dogfish IPA...

I am a female who is a bit of a beer geek. I love tasting new and unusual brews, although lately hoppy brews and higher gravity beers have been my weak spots. I have done some brewing as well.

Throw a sour or 2 in there every now and then and you and I are the same. I'm around 2500 beers

Anderson Valley makes great sour beers

WOW! There are a few beer lovin' chicks! That is awesome!

Well I would love to make a few friends, so please PM me. I enjoy just about any style. Favorites include Russian/Imperial Stouts (any stout really), IPA (single,double,triple), APA, Sours, Funk, pretty much anything. I'd rather drink water than american lagers though.
I also brew for comps.

Shame I can't drink beer.. I do make the best bitter beer faces though.
I'm more of a Vodka kind of girl. Or Jagermeister.

I've yet to find a sweet tasting beer. I've tried local brewed.. Narragansett came out with a honeyed ale last year, just couldn't get it down.
I also tried their Unameable Black lager.
I might go try Sons of Liberty next.
I do like their whiskey.
