Hey I've never used a toy before and am debating getting one. Is it worth the cost? And which one should I get? I'm asking the fellow ladies out there, but gents can anwser too if they like

Before you spend the money, try a cucumber!

They have some pretty cheap stuff. Maybe start cheap to see if you like it and then upgrade when you know what you like!

There's plenty of stuff out there, ranging from cheap to expensive. As long as you use it, it should get the job done. I've known girls to like plain dildos and some like the bullet vibrators. Then there's the regular sized vibrators that work too. As long as you're having fun that's all that counts.

Did you see the thread that says "What do you refuse to skimp on?" This should be one of those things.
Don't go cheap, you deserve quality.

Hiya, LonelyLittleRed.

You can go a few different avenues with this.
If this is the first time you are getting a toy, I would maybe ask someone you trust in your real life to advise you, or even go with you to pick one out. If you are with someone, go with that person. If you have a friend you trust, go with her/him.

Most people who work in "toy stores" are pretty nice. It is usually more expensive in a store than online, however, they want to make the sale, and they want you to come back. The advantage of a store over online is you can see actual sizes and shapes of vibrators, etc. 10" online may sound great, but when you actually see it? Maybe not, especially if this is your first.

Online advantages are, well it's almost anonymous! No interaction with a sales person, if you are embarrassed.
Another advantage is that it usually cheaper to purchase toys online. Waaay cheaper.
Your purchases are usually delivered in a plain box.

I prefer going to a store. The girl who works at my store is great. I can pay cash. I can look and feel and play with what I want before buying (play with on the counter, out of the package, not play with.)

If I get a package delivered, my sons may rip it open, thinking it's their new lacrosse gloves. If I buy it, I can stash it and no one is the wiser.

Good luck. I also PMed you. :)

As a guy and a younger one at that, my opinion may mean squat but here goes.

Assuming you're sexually active and have been in the past you may have some idea what you like / dislike. If you only really get off with clit stimulation something simple for that may work, I know my ex and I had a remote control one which she found it worked really well Especially when she handed over the controls to me!

They're quite discrete too and easily hideable super useful if you're room sharing in college!

Again always good to see what you buy, again my ex when she was with me bought a dildo which scared me to pieces, was a good 10" or so which put my cock at 5" to shame. (Apart from my self-esteem taking a hit) she found it quite uncomfortable and got rid of it soon after, so again if you're used to a smaller penis and fond them more comortable than larger ones then go in store and tell your sales assistant (as someone has said above, they're usually friendly).

Hope this helps and I've not been totally rubbish-hopefully some ladies on here may agree.

just get a hand held massager and you will be good to go.

and a hand held shower head.

So have you had any luck finding a toy. If you have how was you experience using it.

I do like using toys with my wife. Some times they work great to get her really worked up and other times we use it to play as another person being with us ;)
