I, James R Scouries esq. would like to thank the hundreds of thousands of LITEROTICA readers who have supported me and my writing over the years. And today I’d like to especially thank the readers who over the past 9+ years have read, enjoyed and voted on my story Two Pregnant Moms…and Sis.

Sometime late last night a reader somewhere in the world finished reading this story and then took the few extra seconds and elected to vote on the story. I have no idea what vote they selected (could have been anything from 1 to 5) or from what country it was made from (U.S., Canada, India, Japan, Ireland, Pakistan, Scotland, Keyna????), instead I’m just extremely happy that they took the time to vote.

And what a vote it turned out to be! It was the TEN THOUSANTH VOTE this story has received and which made the story only the 15th in LITEROTICA’S storied history to amass this many votes.

To give you AHland readers some idea of the magnitude of this achievement it should be noted that during its existence LITEROTICA has published some 500,000 stories. Yup, over half a million tales of porn have been brought to us over the last twenty years by that dynamic duo, LAUREL and HARDY (just kidding – of course I mean MANU – I love that guy - that poor soul still slaving away on the site upgrade!!!)

Which means that about one story in every 33,000 that has been published here has achieved this pinnacle of success.

Hear, hear King Ogg, I wholeheartedly agree. But it's a helluva thing, 10 000, votes. The most votes I have ever received was 345. I'm obviously not bragging, it would be foolish, but those who voted show me that they were bothered to tell me what they thought of my story, albeit in a rating system. It's nice to know someone actually reads them.

But I do hope none of my stories take 9 years to get there...

The thing that irritates me are authors who re-edit and re-edit stories that have been up for years. No amount of editing will turn a poorly written story from ten years ago into a masterpiece today. That's where I agree with the sink or swim. Put your best effort in the first time. And if you're giving your third-best the first time and are hauled over the coals, it's on you... don't think an editor will produce magic if you submit garbage.

And I speak from experience - I have submitted garbage. Sometimes.

His stories are all incest, that category gets the highest numbers on lit as far as votes go. Some authors can get 2k in their first week with a new one.

But once the story is no longer new, votes will keep trickling in, but at a slow rate as people read them from the authors page or top lists if they are on them. So even though you can start off high it slows down considerably, unless you're scouries and show up to vote up all your stories and fav yourself on a regular basis.

Scouries has no top list stories. For all his manipulations a lot of his scores are not that high, barely the H in some. Now what that means is without all the fives he uploaded to his work his scores would be awful. He also has no new story out in about 4 years another reason his stories and he on the fav list should not be moving, but it will 'somehow'

So never use this fraud to compare anything to, because he's his own biggest fan with several hundred-or more-sock puppets he created to fav him and his stories.

I find this thread amusing because I have a story that has 8800 votes and is only from 2014. But it was a first place contest winner and on a top list so it has consistently gotten votes and comments throughout that time.

Maybe I'll bookmark this thread and bump it when it hits ten K in a year or so.

Oh, and its not even in incest, its first time.

The new girl is learning sir. Soon she will be able to detect between bullshit writers and competent writers. And congratulations on the win (I voted for you). Can't wait to see what you, King Ogg, TxRad, Habu, silkstockinglover and Hypoxia deliver for summer lovin'. Think Habu might go overboard though... it will be tough.

It may be a limited interest on Lit, but I put my transvestite characters in various themes : sci-fi, erotic horror, and the transexual category. I plan to expand those category choices in the future. I feel like transvestites are some of the most colorful characters that can be added to a story. But, that's me , and I know it doesn't interest everyone.
