What's the deal with Jaakob?

Am I the only one who has a reader with this login (followed by some digits) favorite and then un-favorite your stories on a daily basis? The only reasonable reason I can think of is that he (I guess) uses this as a way to get recommendations of stories, but it's so frequent that I'm thinking it's some sort of bot doing it for whatever weird reason. Any thoughts?

Yes, same thing - back on 22nd June, three favourites on my most recent story from jaakob68. No change in score or votes though, from what I could see. Nothing since.

I figured he was bookmarking, but with a short memory....

There's a few of these type readers.

Umbercide does it all the time. It doesn't bother me because I've never seen any bombs or nasty anon comments that coincide with their un-faving.

Some people just bookmark to read and that's it, others fav so many stories there page looks like a lit directory.

Maybe, but it's been going on for a long time.

I've encountered Jaakob68. He's been at it for over a year, favoriting, unfavoriting, then refavoriting several of my stories. He'll disappear for a few months and then reappear with a new flurry of activity. I have no idea what this is all about.

I suppose the way to find out would be to send him a message and ask him.

I think you're correct. I also had dozens of favorited followed by the same people breaking up with me again. I couldn't understand it. Also, no comments. Not on the last four stories, since about beginning June. Not even one nasty comment, not that I'm looking for nasty comments. But I can always count on 3 or 4 in EC and a couple in Incest. I did get reader feedback though.
