I spent a lot of time hanging out in the arcades of an adult bookstore in the early 70's. It wasn't uncommon to see women there especially on weekends, for some reason Sunday afternoons. The thing was you never knew what you were going to get when you approached a gloryhole. Always carried condoms, lube, and a pocket full of paper towels, and this was before AIDS was ever heard of. Would I do it today? Maybe it's a good thing gloryholes have disappeared around here.

Back then getting VD meant an embarrassing trip to the doctor for a shot and some pills, nowadays it could mean a death sentence or nasty STD.
