Y'all ready for another round of the Double Blind?

Send in a poem to be critiqued. It can be an early draft or one you think is just about right. I'll start posting them anonymously on Sunday, July 10, posting them about 48 hours apart.

I'd like to max this one out at seven poems, with priority going to those who didn't submit a poem the last round if more than seven people should send in pieces this time. That gives us two weeks of poems to critique and comment on.

As before, you can send in any revisions to your poem, which will also be posted anonymously after all of the submitted poems have had their chance to be critiqued. Author reveals will be made a day or two after revisions are posted.

Feel free to submit your poem via my PM inbox starting now.

If I've missed anything, or if there are any questions, let me know.

Woohoo!

It's always a treat to critique poems by poets who actually want critiques.

As opposed to poets who insist their intentional use of generic descriptions is a luxury afforded to readers given that all poetry is open to interpretation.

Looking forward to submitting to this one and getting skewered. Being skewered creatively is a real treat. Thanks much, Calli!

Unfortunately vacation, travel and work will keep me busy and at times out of WW Web range and I won't be able to participate as more than an interested occasional observer.

Good luck to all!

yayayay this is such a good challenge! I approve to!!!! now that I am back to the world of living :p

Double Blind 3 is starting in a week, and a couple of poems have been submitted. So, there's still room for more. :)

Just a reminder that Double Blind 3 is starting on Sunday. Right now, it's a pretty short one.

If you participated in the last one, there's plenty of room for you in this one as it stands now. If you haven't done it before, I hope you'll consider taking part.

Which isn't easy, because I'm hillbilly folk with only 18 teeth left.

Actually, 20.

I just used popsicle sticks to help me do a recount.

It's shaping up to be a very short Double Blind. I've received two poems. I start posting them on Sunday.

As things stand now, the first poem will be posted on Sunday, the second poem on Tuesday, and if I receive another by Thursday, I'll post it. Otherwise, we'll have this thing wrapped up by the following Sunday.

So, currently the deadline for sending me a poem for the challenge is Thursday morning, July 14, EDT. That will be updated if I get more submissions.

Thanks, gm, for the paradelle links: this one is both funny and sad, but a great use of the form.

I should have done the homework before attempting my own, but it was worth the torture.
