Hi there sweetie ~ So nice to see you. The Vintage 40 Prime TWO thread has hit 5000 posts and so I started this one as Starry suggested and the link is in the last post of that thread.

Thought I would tell Y'all have a Happy 4th.

I am off to a campsite at 4:00 PM for 4 days.

No running indoor plumbing, no electricity and not a single cell phone tower within 50 miles.

This is going to be a experience.

So I was a bitch.
This is how the DirecTV tech left my DISH unit hanging after putting the neighbor's DirecTV dish back on the new roof. Real professional of him. The neighbor threw such a hissy fit over the roofers (who were Cuban or Mexican and very nice to me!) even touching the 3 satellite dishes while putting on the new roof. So being the bitch that I am I called DirecTV and asked them to talk to the tech. You DON"T touch equipment that isn't yours! AND the rude comments shared with the neighbor on people who speak Spanish was not appreciated either.

At least I am assuming he didn't cut my cat lines since that's how it's hanging off the roof. The DISH guy is coming tomorrow and will be bringing me a new HD unit for free so if he killed my dish then oh well. But seriously even when the people up front have had cable that ass hat cut my lines. That had happened before so my landlord called the cable company road supervisor who came out & chewed some ass and got it fixed.

Unless you have a satellite orbiting around inside that screened in porch, I'm guessing the reception kinda sucks.
