I love this tons. I get migraines a lot.

Boo! Me too. I developed one today after waiting two hours for an oil change - it was the smell. Good drugs, an ice pack on my head, and a nap seem to have wiped it out.

ice packs are a wonder. just about the only thing that works when my neck starts acting up. sadly, i think i need a new ace bandage. mine is getting all ratty and it smells, but... yeah, it's that ratty. i fear the washer will just eat the fucker.

Noor, when I think of PA, I think of Philadelphia, Ben Franklin (Boston) and the Philly Folk Festival. I have only seen the lovely parts. Maybe, my friends were trying to shield me.

When someone takes me for a short hop, I marvel at how the land in MA looks like mesh, with ponds filling in the spaces.(From above) It has been awhile, since people had to use boats in the streets o escape the floods, here.

It says something, that here we are suffering disaster, after less than a hundred years of trying to control nature.

I think I have about four that I keep in my freezer now just so I can rotate them out when they get warm.

And yeah, time for a new bandage if it smells. ;)

That is not food. That is mood altering substances.
(Hand me the chocolate. The high octane stuff. I hope it has some espresso powder in it.)

My hands area shaking. That race was incredible. Kurt didn't win but Tony Stewart did.

Western PA is quite beautiful if you can ignore strip mines and the slag colored streams in places. The Laurel Mountains are like heaven.Pittsburgh is built where 3 rivers meet and there are a lot of river towns and neighborhoods along them.

When I was learning to drive, I was instructed how to break a window from inside in case I end up in the river, and how to try to steer if you got caught in the flash flood.
I never ended up in the river, but I almost did once. A reservoir burst as I was driving below it and the water picked up my car, slammed it into a wood fence and it was heading down toward the river. I was able to steer it somewhat, and get to the edge where I was able to get two wheels on dryish pavement and pull away.
I seriously though I was going into the river, I had my window cutting and seat belt cutter at the ready.
