I persisted in requesting that everyone had freedom of choice, as to where they wanted to post their political items.
I am happy to see that my request was granted.
People are free to post what they fucking want,
where they fucking want, as usual.

23 deaths had been reported including 15 in Greenbrier County, six in Kanawha County, one in Ohio County and another in Jackson County.
Department of Homeland Security and FEMA involved
It looks like the floods I saw on TV, when I was a child,
before the Army Corps of Engineers changed everything.
I understand building on flat land, because my house is not.
All the houses where I am, are part of a flattened slope.
(As it is, they had to flatten another ledge of the rock this summer.)
It looks as if they built their houses where a future Thames would be.
Just as it was 50 some odd years, ago.

She sounds like a wonderful pet and companion. We're sorry you have to lose her. will be thinking of you and G and Girl Dog.I will, I will.
Its the first time I feel it's 'right' and it's been so hard. She was a gift, ( never give dogs as presents!) from a dog breeder, and not a breed I had considered, ( to be honest I thought they were the ugly ducklings of the group) but she has been the most amazing dog friend. Even when told I was being a gifted puppy, ( I was there for something else) I was told to pick one, my eyes were drawn to her and a sibling, the sibling was the breeder's pick, and she looked just like her mama, who I LOVED, a really cheeky funny dog, and so I picked her. And on the drive home she didn't sleep, or whine, but ginned, and laughed, and enjoyed attention and conversation. When we had a car with three front seats she sat between us, she loves cars, and she loved exploring. She used to wild swim with us, even though her body is totally the wrong shape for dealing with current she'd rather be with us and involved than waiting out of the fun, so we'd swim by her side and she'd grin.
A couple of years ago, when I could no longer swim, G and a friend and I took her and our dogs ( we still had three) to the beach on the south coast, and of the Labradors, and terriers and others, the only two who got in and swim with g were a game little jack Russell......and her, she stayed with me, then saw G was going to far out for her liking, so went out and brought him right back in. And came back to me for a hug of reward "one of us has to watch out for him and the little guy dog, right, Elle?"
We have been so very, very lucky to have her, she is a wonderful, clever and very funny person....not too goody two shoes, and often kept us on our toes, but loved with a heart we can now see beating, still strong, in the cage of her painfully obvious ribs.

I remember the floods in western PA when I was young, we lived on the side of a hill but the flat land was totally covered.
Back then you had to worry about mineral rights too, because there were mines under a lot of houses.

So sorry to hear this Elle and G. Hugs to you. There is something of the Divine about animals. Unconditional love at its best. She was a lucky little girl to have been so loved.
