Is it happening through PMs? Start by adding the user to your ignore list. You can also report posts if they are happening on the boards.

I began a role play with another member here, but I discovered he had lied about something and it made me uncomfortable. I ended the role play. This was last year. He has continued to PM and email me regularly. He alternates between spewing hateful insults at me and apologizing for "misunderstanding" the situation.

I've tried to just ignore him, but it's starting to get to me.

I prefer to do most of my playing via PMs. I only need to post once in a while to find plenty of play mates.

It hardly seems fair that I should leave something I'm really fond of because someone else is acting inappropriately.

It's not my public posts I care about, it's the friends I've made via PMs! As you likely know, people often have long absences from here, but when we get back, we like to be able to reconnect... making a new account means they won't have a way to find me again.
