A Letter to the MILK I saw yesterday

You were sitting on my store's shelf yesterday in the milk section with four different screaming labels (I don't think they were all from your parent company). You were liter-sized and didn't fall off the shelf once. What set you apart from the other milks was the fact you were made from almonds. Damn milk, you looked so tasty. Like the other customers in the store, I pretended not to look. I did find various excuses though: "Can I help you find a particular flavor?" Oh look, this box of muesli cereal I'm buying needs milk. Hmmm I must rearrange the items in my shopping basket. Oh your box design handles so well when gripped, I assume you get pulled off the shelf every time you get restocked, right?

Anyway, I got distracted by looking for pasta sauces elsewhere and one thing after another your section was gone. *sigh*
