No plans at all for the weekend

But the plans may develop as the weekend goes along, and your sexy self?

House guests again tomorrow, really looking forward to seeing them, some of my favourite people. There'll be wine (and white port, thanks to Scout's inspiration), food (tiramisù!), silliness and seriousness, no doubt some teeth-gnashing over some recent family events, and some lovely plans for a holiday together next year.

And I'll probably need Sunday to recover

Just allowing the weekend to shape as it goes along sounds very nice though - I'm definitely due one of those.

Wine sounds good :D

There might be a family get together on Sunday for braai and beer, nit sure yet though

Sean Bean and Joely Richardson.... *swoons*

H had an original 'expurgated' copy of that, with ellipses in place of the rude bits. Bet that'd be worth a fortune now

I have to admit, that this thread is just fun to read and watch. Even without the pictures/photo's the chit chat is so hot and spicy.

That was a better version than the most recent sexless offering.
I have a memory of Mr Bean fucking Miss Richardson doggy fashion. Hope it is an extant memory.....
Very hot for the eighties....

Sean Bean... *sigh*

I liked the back story idea in the more recent adaptation, but you're right, it was kind of sexless...

(Sean Bean...)

Did I mention Sean Bean?

I thought I heard mention of Sean Bean;) and I agree..deliciously rugged.
I cracked a bottle from Portugal last night. A quiet night spent with a book, port and a few of my favorite men..Miles, Nat, Otis, Frank ;)

You new pictures are gorgeous by the way :rose:

Somehow I imagine someone else got his pie and made sure to let you know it was all his. But let him know I'm still fantasizing about it. :)

From recollection, I think it had been pie for breakfast that particular day...

Thank you :rose:

Your evening sounds just wonderful, I wish I could have shared that with you. I wouldn't have talked while you were reading, just sat quietly with you enjoying it all...

He's alright, isn't he, our Sean :D Good Northern lad, Sheffield, I think.

Partially :) everyone's trying to eat healthy so there was some braai and lots of salads and stuff. There was cake though :D

Good :D

So here's a question for a Monday.

There's a big football (soccer) tournament going on in France right now, Euro 2016. Loads of matches, seems to be on TV wherever you look . It mostly passes me by, as my man has very little interest in it and neither do I, but I'm wondering this:

If there's a game on you really want to see, but your S.O. offers you 90 minutes of unbridled passion instead, what do you do?

What exactly is braai? Is it the cooking process? Or the equipment? I recall the word from seeing the England cricket team touring in SA in the past.

Well the only way I'd really want to see a football match is if it was female players and they were all nekkid:rolleyes: easy choice, watch some other morons play with a ball or having a hottie play with my balls? Gimme the hottie every time

It just means Grill in Afrikaans essentially. The philosophy is different. You dont bring hamburgers to a braai for example, unless you dont want to be invited back. Its much more steaks and chops and ribs and such, proper meat instead of sausages and burgers

Oh it was Lemon Merenge Layer cake too, delicious

Totally agree. If your mentality says a football game (either continents version) is more important than your woman, then you need to rethink your priorities.

Not to mention, you can DVR the game and come back 90 minutes later. But let's be honest, it's probably more like 30 minutes later and you are still going to be all set. And, if you are any good, she'll be more than happy to cuddle up with you and watch with you. I think!

I see. It does sound rather lovely. What fuel? Wood? Is it you who hails from SA? Or your wider family?

Although I would say that good quality sausages from a local butcher you trust can be very good indeed. Our butcher uses local animals, some of them nurtured by members of his extended family, slaughtered locally and turned into extraordinarily lovely things.

I definitely need you to save me some cake next time... :D
