For those of you who are following along at home (bless your patience), the subplot with Constantine and Kiz (haha, I still always think of that as a band name) is going to lead directly into the kick-off for the next event, and that's a few posts away.

Current Justice Leaguers, your timeframes will then skip about a week to "catch up" with when the Kiz stuff is happening, you'll be in your various places, and we'll all be summoned to HQ as a League so we can travel by Nightwing's Javelin to the central battleground.

The various people who will be joining The League as a result of this event will be plot-hooked to the battlefield in the ways that we've each discussed via PM, either meeting The League outside the battlefield or once they enter it. (Var, we haven't really discussed how Raven would get there, but I imagine she can just teleport to the scene easily enough, I trust your judgment.)

Varshanka and Aussie, I don't want to interrupt or derail what you're doing as Arrow and Rider. So a) you guys can totally continue that as a flashback if you want and have the event go off in another timeframe? Or 2) we can fudge the time difference between New York and San Francisco and have the event go off simultaneously in the Kiz and Hawke/Ketch subplots as well as everywhere else. The Rider can then "pyroport" to connect with The Justice League in Metropolis, or she can travel with Green Arrow to the battlefield and meet up with The League once they arrive. Up to you guys!

Any solo plot threads you guys want to take place during this timeskip can still happen as a flashback if you like. Just make sure to make a note of when the events are happening in your post via "timestamp" so readers and rereaders don't get completely lost as the timeframe jumps around.

Speaking of which, Varshanka, Legend, at some point I'd still like to do that Karan/Val-Zod/M'gann telepathic therapy subplot, but that might do better to wait until the next timeskip. (If that's all right.)

Why every warehouse seemed to have skylights was beyond him, but it sure made his job a hell of a lot easier.

I love this lampshade, okay? Nicely done.

I was co-running a Gotham thread on Yahoo Groups a few years back, and I suggested there that skylights had actually become more prevalent in that city a few years after Batman had begun fighting crime.

Businesses began to recognize that Batman favored skylights for making his dramatic entrances, so they began installing them more often. Conversely, criminals became less likely to rob a place with a skylight, because they would expect The Bat to come crashing down through it at any second.

Maybe not as effective as a good security system, but every little helps!

Yeah, I got that impression from the timeframe, too.

...I didn't realize G.R. could pyroport other people with her! Good to know! Between Raven, The Rider, and certain other factors, Arrow will have lots of options to get to the battlefield.

In the "Young Justice" storyline on which the psychic-therapy idea is based, it takes a long time to make any headway (heh) with the person whose psyche has been shattered. Like weeks and weeks. So this would just be the first installment, to find out how bad it is in there, and we would revisit that subplot as things unfold to help Val-Zod return to functionality? At least that was what we talked about awhile ago.

But I'm of the belief that nobody should have to go broke to stay healthy, mentally or physically.

We are lucky we have medicare. If not for that I know people who wouldn't visit the doctor or have medicine. Government subsidizes medicines so that some which normally cost in the hundreds only cost less than $10.
