The obvious conclusion is they’re doing this because they don’t want people to understand what happened and why. There are a few reasons for this that I can imagine:

1. It would call attention to Obama’s miserable failures in the mideast and in counterterror at home, and make an even more obvious hash of Obama’s gun-control distraction tale; and/or

2. He said something specific about being motivated by Obama’s drone attacks on his “brothers” in his “home country” of Afghanistan, which would not only make Obama look bad but would also undermine his immigration storyline.

Just saw an interesting clip of a young man asking other young people who is to blame. The almost lockstep response was guns because of, you know, Republicans, so Republicans are to blame. It's not "fair" to blame Islam.

As long as this mindset prevails among so many on the Left, then the killings will continue because we will be attacking nonsensical sources and enemies allowing the radicalized Muslim population to live and plot in out very midst because so many Democrats and hip youngsters have adapted a don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to Islam.

As long as Trump remains a blame target, then the Left can act out violently, wave Mexican flags, bash Christians as worse than Muslims and hold themselves blameless, even though they are the only ones resorting to violence.

And yet, people on the Left wonder why we keep stocking up on guns and ammo, usually blaming our intentions on hate and fear of Islam, foreigners and cultures we do not understand. The truth is, the only thing that really frightens us is our culture and the people who blame us for all of the ills of the world they love so much, but refuse to emigrate to to leave us alone with our "hate."
