How does one upload a pic, where? Please send a link.

The link is a button in the Attach Files section down below where you type a post. Click the button Manage Attachments and follow the directions in the dialog box the pops up.
Of course you can always hot link an image from another site by clicking on the insert image button at the top. The insert image button is the one with the little mountain and the sun icon.
Of course your edit box will have to look like this...
If it doesn't then you have to go to UserCp and then to Profile Options and down in the Miscellaneous section the drop down should look like this...

Well if I can ever get this figured out. I've had eleventy twelve different ways of doing this and so far no luck. I'm tempted to send someone my password and pic and ask them to post it for me. I know how to combat terrorists, but I don't do to good with computers. I had folks that did that for me and they were excellent.

There are size limits on attachments; both pixel dimensions and file size. Unless you've adjusted the resolution of your camera, your pictures are too big and must be resized and compressed to upload to Lit's forums.
Try www.irfanview.com for a free download of an image management program to make resizing to fit Lit's limits easy.

Where the hell r all the mods or administration who r supposed to help us?? .. or do they just remove posts an leave the rest for us to figure out on our own??

I've read the FAQ section.. .. it says at the bottom I should have an attachment button, I don't .. mine is to the left and when I click it a new window does open but it also says I have no attachments and I have no option to browse. .. totally frustrated at this point

The mods are volunteers and don't spend 24/7 waiting for someone to bitch.PMs: There is no attachment function for PMs. You can hotlink images from another site or a post in a thread here, but the management declines to provide storage for images not shared with all members.
Forum posts: There may be a hundred post restriction on attachments as there is for avatars and profile, and signature pictures. In that case, you've passed the minimum number of posts and there should be a "manage attachments" section on the reply and new post pages.

You can't send an attachment with a PM, ONLY a hot linked image.
ETA: oops, Harold covered this.

You need to have another 80 posts before the option is made available.
Head on over to the Playground or if you have a really thick skin, the GB (warning: for those who have thick skins only and revels in scalping) and just post in the word games, question games or any number of 'home' threads to rack up the necessary posts.
