Why is it called a "Blow-job"?

There are several different thoughts as to how the blowjob got its name. One common idea is that the slang term for prostitute used to be “blowsy” and so to have the act performed by them would then be considered a blow-job. Perhaps the most comical idea is that the term blowjob was actually used as a code to mean its opposite – to suck. However it came to be, most people will agree that it’s not very descriptive. Which makes me wonder if they will change their views when they reach you and your wife's age.
