Playing Doctor

I have a story. I can develop it in one of at least two ways. It's a ghost story of sorts. As far as the sex part of the story goes, a young couple watches three apparitions have sex then escapes, but finds themselves very turned on.

I originally (let's say, 6 or 7 years ago) wrote the story with the couple being a brother and sister. If I rewrote it that way then it would obviously go to Incest/Taboo. I'm thinking of writing it with an adult couple who were friends as children and played Doctor together.

If the couple are not brother and sister, then what category would the story go to?

Lighthearted or Dark? What about the ghosts? Do they make slow passionate love, or Fuck like frantic ferrets? Going for Humor or Drama? Does she wear panties? Some people want to know?

It looks like non-human to me, unless the people are brother and sister. Then it would fit into Incest.

What's given so far doesn't indicate sex between humans and nonhumans. If the sex is segregated--between only nonhumans and only humans, I think EC is better than nonhuman. I think readers in nonhuman expect the sex to be between the nonhuman and a human.

Ghosts aren't real. It's probably best in fantasy.

That said, if two people did see a ghost, even a sexy ghost, I'd think the terror would overwhelm any sexy urges, and they'd spent all night shaking and talking about the complete reboot of their metaphysical framework. Unless the ghost has psychic sexy powers, or does possession or something, I don't see it getting hot and wild.

I did something very vaguely like this in https://www.literotica.com/s/chosen-ch-01-1 , and it was six chapters between something supernatural happening and anything erotic happened. (And there was so little eroticism overall I put it in Non-Erotic).

I agree, the ghosts are the catalyst for sex between the humans.

EC is a catch all category most effective when you're either mixing a bunch of kinks or there is no specific kink addressed. Ghosts are definitely something that is specific and shifts it to EH

I hadn't even thought of Erotic Horror. Does anybody read that? The story itself isn't all that horrifying, but that probably doesn't matter.

EH is about the same as EC readership wise if you're fairly new and don't have any type of following there.

My two stories there (one now, I recently removed one) both had about 250 votes and keep in mind they were both 22 pages so I imagine I would have had more if it was an average length piece.

I'm sure it not being 'scary' doesn't really matter, but supernatural content does. There's a lot of horny ghost stories there.

I like the idea of childhood friends-now ghosts-playing doctor like they did (or didn't?) as live kids.

If one or both of the live adults watching was a native american or a practicing neo-pagan, it would open up the possibilities of the living people using astral projection so that they could have an "Astral orgy" with all four of them.....

There are many other scenarios that could play out by having the living couple be neo-pagans. Feel free to PM me if you want help with pursuit of this kind of idea.

For this story I abandoned that concept; it goes live in the morning (Aug. 3, 2016).

Still, the idea is there.
