Disabilities caused by accidents and injuries are not written into your genes and therefore there isn't any chance of passing those defect(s) onto your offspring.

If I lose my leg in a motorcycle accident, does that mean that my kid will be born without a leg?

No.

On the other hand, people who were BORN with disabilities and genetic defects should be involuntarily sterilized to help iron out the kinks, folds, and creases in the human gene pool.

This is called selective breeding.
