A good friend died

Condolences. As a motorcyclist I feel for you. Without a box of steel around you, many times it is quite a messy death. Again condolences.

A full face helmet at least usually allows for an open casket.

Always wear a helmet, boots, gloves and leather. Even if during the hot weather. Had a buddy go down wearing a faux silk jacket. Skin grafts for a year after.

Be safe.

Condolences. As a motorcyclist I've had more than one close call. I used to be what is known as a Road Captain in a motorcycle group. I usually road the sweep position(last bike) that secures the lane when changing lanes. I made sure motorists did not break into our group especially coming off a ramp. On several occasions I put myself in danger to protect a fellow rider.

Since I've had one major heart attack I seldom wear a helmet much less protective clothing.

I lost one of my students to a drunk driver.

He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he served his country in the wars against radical Islam and when he came home he served his community as a paramedic. They came across the centerline and being on a bike, he never had a chance.

hi

any and every human life is priceless and irreplaceable. The loss is permanent and sorrow inconsolable.

Yeah yeah.... But did the bike make it?

You're as despicable as stepping in dog shit...

Just think of all the people who died in the time between your post and mine.

9 minutes x 105= 945 dead people.

Will there be a Thread and a GB Condolences Line for each one?

No? You heartless bastard!

Sorry for your loss. I spent the weekend with my cousin who was in a motorcycle accident a few weeks ago. He locked up the brakes and used his face to break his fall as he flew over the handle bars...his bike is okay, it landed on him.

Orbital fractures, cheek bone fractures, jawbone fractures, fractured ribs, they put a plate and screws in his ankle and he had a brain bleed...no helmet...

At least the bike is okay.

There seems to be a dearth of details about the bikes. What kind of bike? Frame damage?

No frame damage to the harley. While I was with him for three days in the hospital I felt like I wa sin an episode of Sons of Anarchy.

Here's me in my sundresses and such and all these bikers from the club in full leathers being stared at by people who think that bikers are bad...

I had to change my panties often, they were freakin hot!!!

Sorry for your loss. Most of the time it's drivers not paying attention.
